Up there with angels,in peace and serenity
My grandaughter plays in harmony;
She wasn't meant to be on earth she's ethereal
Whilst she was here, my heart, she did steal.

Born sleeping is what they said
What they meant was she was dead;
My heart then broke as angels came
Taking her back to heaven again.

There are no atheists on life rafts
That's what my mother used to say;
Our faith and love of angels
Protects us to this day.

Wherever we have gone and done
Beside us they still stand;
In times of trouble they carry us
Or they may just hold your hand.

A love and gentleness flows;
Just go without now'n'again
And watch it, see where it goes.

I know I have an angel
God gave him to me when I was born;
He stays with me no matter what
When I'm wrong he warns.

Protecting me through thick and thin
Preparing me each day;
He listens to my moans and groans
Taking notes of everything I say

Our angels are with each one of us
Assigned to us at birth
They stay with us throughout our lives
To help us on this earth

Our souls have agreed before we come
Certain lessons to be learnt
That's why we have this searching feeling
Trying to find what our hearts yearn

They will only help us if we ask
And only for the good
Sometimes it feels they're not there at all
But keep our faith we should

**

Today as I knelt in prayer,
I asked my Heavenly Father
for angels to guide your way.
To protect you, and watch over you
both night and day.
To cover you with His precious love
and keep you from all harm.

There are angels in the Heavens,
There are angels on the ground.
There are angels all around you,
Just waiting to be found.
So when you are feeling lonely
Or just a little blue,
Open your eyes to see the angels,
They are there, waiting for you.

You're an angel that nobody can see,
Still an angel is what you are to me.
An angel from heaven is what you are,
In my sky you're definitely a heavenly star.

You're an angel with beauty & grace,
You're kind & sweet, you have an angel face.
You have very graceful angel wings,
Happiness and joy are just some things,
that an angel can give.

In my heart & mind is where you're living,
You have hair as soft as the white clouds.
A guardian angel is what Ive gotten.
Your eyes are like sapphires that shine bright.
When everything is dark, you give me light.

You're an angel that teaches me to give.

**

The angels are here,
I heard my Dad say.
There are three on the roof
They're not leaving today.
There is one very tall one
And one to each side,
Could they possibly be my guides?
Go and get my glasses so I can see.
I think the angels are here for me.

Nor iron bars a cage;
Minds innocent of quiet take
That for an hermitage;
If I have freedom in my love
And in my soul am free,

I'm giving them to you.
I think that you have earned them,
With all the things you do.
You brighten up the days,
And always seem to care.
When someone needs a friend,
They can always find you there.

An angel here, an angel there,
I'm surrounded by angels everywhere.
When I'm in the middle of a terrible storm
They come with their candles to keep me warm.
An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,
An angel to fill that dark hole inside.
An angel to cry on, an angel who cares,
I'm surrounded by angels, everywhere.
The angels who reach out when times are rough
Who'll listen to my heartache and all kinds of stuff
Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night
The angels surround me with comforting light.
I guess God is busy and can't come on downSo He sent a few angels to brighten my day
And help to carry my burdens away.
So thank you, dear angels, more than you'll know
