My little girl sitting there in her dressing gown
Yawning after staying up late;
Christmas morning orange juice and champagne
Wondering how much she ate?

Christmas Eve supper a family tradition
Went on rather late last night
Later on when all the family gets here,
Then she will be alright!

We don't have the presents 'till later you see
To place emphasis on love and family at home.
Laughter and films and more food you see
All the family back in the fold after their roam.

All year long all as busy as bees
Spread out all around the country;
But back together again celebrations are due
For the blessings and all our bounty

So Merry Christmas one and all and daughters everywhere
You bring the grandchildren and so much love and joy
We love to see you and have our hugs even if webcams are ok
It is so nice to see them all open all their toys.
