Easter.. My Easter

It means so much at Easter time,
to be with family and friend..
A chance to search our inner soul,
to see what we need to amend..

To remember the ultimate sacrifice made,
by Jesus on this day..
For with his death our sins were forgiven,
and only by dying could he be risen..

He rose again for all to see,
and bring to you this one guarantee..
Just live my words and believe in Me..
together in heaven we will be..

For the Lord allowed His only son to die,
to show us his affection..
For today is the day that we rejoice,
in Christ's resurrection..

So put aside your chocolate bunnies,
and brightly colored eggs..
